My stay was very disappointing. While the house matches the photos, the listing does not disclose the extremely steep, rough, and unsafe driveway. Access realistically requires an SUV, which should be clearly stated. The nearest Walmart is about 30 minutes away, making this even more inconvenient. Inside, there were multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues. The grill had a $75 fee but was dirty and out of propane, making it unusable. The outdoor fireplace had a cut gas line, and the indoor fireplace appeared broken (though it eventually worked). Despite being advertised to accommodate 14 guests, basic supplies were lacking. There were not enough towels, toilet paper, trash bags, or toiletries. The host said only a “starter kit” is provided, which was not disclosed. Extra towels and trash bags arrived late and in limited quantity. A late checkout was offered and appreciated. We also experienced a flat tire while leaving, reinforcing safety concerns. I am reading this a one star.

My stay at the property was unpleasant from the moment I arrived. As warned, the driveway was unfinished but it was truly unsafe. The steep entrance with large rocks exposed. My entrance was met with a strong lingering odor. The overall cleanliness outside and inside the property was poor. Trash was scattered around the property. The floors inside turned white socks black. Inside the rooms were just as disappointing. Several fixtures were broken and placed inside drawers. The exposure of wires under the fireplace and 3 apparent motors exposing wires were laid out on the patio. I will add the door handles were broken off to the patio. The kitchen faucet handles were broke. The bathrooms were poorly stocked. The bare minimum, towels were thin and worn. I will add we were in constant communication with members of the property addressing these issues. We were told maintenance would take care of issues, no one ever responded. We were offered a late check out but we respectfully declined.
