This was my first reservation from airbnb! The host was very welcoming and gave me easy to understand check in instructions!
First and foremost, Jen the host was excellent! She was very responsive, helped with a few issues and offered assistance on other items. As host she definitely earned 5 stars. Unfortunately the unit was a different story. The acceptable items: The kitchen appliances are old, but worked as they should. The HVAC and water heater worked fine, also having a full bathroom for each bedroom was very convenient. There were numerous things that were unacceptable when we arrived. Most of which would cost little to nothing to fix. A short list: Several blinds had broken and/or missing parts and need replaced, the beds were very old and in very poor condition, the carpet on the stairs and upstairs bedrooms is old, dirty and needs replaced. The toilets need new mechanisms, the baseboards were extremely dirty! The towels were VERY thin and cheap(we had to get our own). The list can go on. The unit has potential, I just hope they recognize the condition and fix it.
The amenities at this location are amazing! We had a couple down days and were able to utilize the pool and arcade. Our kids enjoyed it very much. Jen is also very responsive. We had a small issue when we first checked in and she and her team took care of it right away.
