Unfortunately, our stay did not meet the expectations set by the listing. While the location in Destin was great, the property itself needs more attention to maintenance and cleanliness. The outdoor areas were noticeably dirty upon arrival, and the carpets inside the home appeared stained and in need of a deep cleaning. Many of the appliances were outdated and showed significant wear, which made the home feel less well-maintained than expected. One of the biggest disappointments was the pool. During our stay, it went at least three days without being cleaned, which affected our ability to fully enjoy one of the property’s main amenities. Communication with the host was inconsistent. While we did receive responses at times, there were occasions when questions or concerns were not addressed promptly, making it difficult to resolve issues during our stay. This property has potential because of its location, but it would benefit greatly from improved cleaning standards, more regular po
House is beautiful and looks like the pictures. Perfect location. House was clean for the most part until bugs were discovered in the double beds. There was only one roll of tissue in the whole house for 3 bathrooms. Stove and oven didn't work at all and groceries were bought to cook and we couldn't cook. Grill was dirty and had to be cleaned after paying the $75 grill fee. There was a leak from the light over the kitchen not sure if it was from the shower or what. Hosts were responsive but didn't handle any of my concerns at the time. Spoke with a cohost that assured me that my grill fee would be waived and would reimburse me for the broken appliances. Perfect house just needs to work on the little things. Definitely looking forward to booking again in the future.
