Was a little disappointed with this rental. Upon arrival, the front yard area wasn’t mowed or kept up. We walked in to find that the cleaning crew did not come to clean from the previous renters. Cleaners showed up at 4PM right as we were checking in. Our family had to wait for them to clean the house. They even left towels for us to finish wash and fold! The back yard wasn’t mowed either so the kids we had with us couldn’t play back there. The bbq pit wasn’t cleaned. We were told to use the stand alone ice machine, when we opened it to add water we found it was filled with mold. We messaged the owner for all these issues, they apologized. They said they would try to have someone come mow, no one came. The house would be great if it was kept up. It was close to the beach and restaurants. You could walk to a lot of things. Our family made the best of it and we had a great time in Destin!

Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed our time here. The layout of the home worked well for our family and the gated neighborhood was a big plus. The location was convenient. Close to the beach and just a short walk to the neighborhood pool. The hosts were also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. A few things to note for future guests: you’ll want to plan on bringing most essentials, including seasonings, extra towels, and washcloths. Additionally, the yard appeared to have gone without maintenance for some time and could use some attention. One improvement that would be especially helpful for beachgoers would be a water spigot/hose connection in the front yard to rinse off sand before coming inside. We found ourselves having to pull the hose from the backyard to the front each time we returned from the beach. Despite those minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the location, neighborhood amenities, and responsive hosts.

0/100000. Along arrival it was NASTY. Either no sheets on each bed or a comforter covered it with no sheets. Very few towels and wash rags when they knew 6 adults were attending the home from Friday until Sunday. The towels that were in the home were wet in the dryer. Upon arrival I messaged the host. She responded telling me once that they were checking with their house keeping. I asked 30 mins later for an update. Another host says they are checking with their house keeping. After an hour, I messaged agin and asked just how long. They read my message, no response. I messaged air b and b due to no response. Gave me a full refund since host wouldn’t also respond to air b and b. After we moved and found a new clean home, they messaged me the next day telling me they had brought towels. They had been sent notification of the cancellation and full refund sent. Shows how much they absolutely do not care. The bunk beds are absolutely a joke. Please don’t be deceived, they are toddler size
